MY wife and I eat there once a month or so now, but we use to eat there weekly. The food is still excellent, however it's gotten very greasy as of late, and $21 for 2 grilled cheese sandwiches, a country fried steak sandwich, plus a diet coke and a sprite.$21+$4 tip=$25.00, I know that you have to make money, but you don't have to make it off a Retired Command Master Sgt., and his crippled wife. Sometimes it makes me wonder if I spent 21 years fighting for the right team.

If you guys aren’t open at least update your website to closed!

One of my favorite places. Great portions and fair price. Our waitress Jasmin was very sweet and attentive.

The food was excellent, service was great, only thing that took a star away was when I saw the busboy come out of the bathroom stall and leave without washing his hands 🤢

I enjoy eating here. The food is great. With a wide selection to choose from. Something for everybody. The atmosphere is cozy. Especially for country folk. The wait staff are friendly, and always check with you to make sure your meal is what you'd expect.

Only ate there once but I liked it.

Overall a good experience. Friendly service. Food was fresh. The only reason I only give 3 stars is because the food is really bland. Me and my husband ate here not a whole long time ago, because we were always curious about it. We finally gave it a shot. Aside from the blandness of the food, everything else was absolute tops.

Love their fried chicken and Friday special meatloaf! Prices are great for amount of food you receive. Take out is pretty quick, but be sure to check your food order, just in case. We have gotten home a few times and found items missed. Servers are wonderful too!

The service was good and the food was alright. The sides were a little cold but the main dish was good. It's kind of like cafeteria style food that is served to you instead of going through the line. However I would go back if I want country cooking I'll just ask next time to make sure the sides are hotter.

One of my favorite local places! Real down-home atmosphere and a large menu full of delicious southern cooking. Never been disappointed!

This place is where you want to go for a good family country styled meal. Staff is very friendly and there when you need them to be and the menu you have numerous options from steak to burgers to salads and fish. Definitely recommend

What a great country style restaurant that also has very good Italian and seafood dishes. Everything was very yummy and fresh. The mac and cheese is to die for. Staff was friendly and the place was clean. Bring your family, they have plenty of room and are very accommodating. You want be disappointed.

Absolutely the best homemade food ever! Ambiance is awesome too. The employees are so friendly and accommodating. I love their huge selection of meals and dynamic desserts! They also have the best prices on their menu. Great, good, yummy homemade food that will remind you of home. You need to at least try China Grove Family Restaurant at least once. I guarantee you will be hooked just like I am!

Enjoy eating there and nice decorations. Conveniently located but you may wait a while especially during supper and Sunday afternoons. Not enough parking and your wait staff is hit and miss sometimes. BEST FRIED PICKLES AROUND! AND YES EVERYWHERE WE GO WE ORDER TO COMPARE!

Great food! Plenty of choices. Great, friendly staff. When you go (and you should go) ask to be put in Emma's section. She will take care of you!! The parking lot is always packed for a reason!

Today was very bad , I got chicken that had been sitting around for a long time. My potato's and my broccoli casserole were cold. As was the dry old fried chicken.

The place has cafeteria style food just brought to your table. It's not bad just not as hot as I would have liked it.

Great service fast polite . anyone ordered the cowboy burger. You'll love it. I'm a cowboy and I'll order that every time I come here. BUT my mom came from 4 states away and had hair in the chicken. They took it off the bill with no complaints. Best place . oh the men's bathroom could use some TLC. reminds me of a soloon bathroom. Philly cheese sandwich... Never again, burned roll. Hard as a brick!!

First visit- tried the fried chicken. It was beyond delicious. The fried squash and sweet potato casserole was the bomb too.

I went here this past weekend. It was our first time and our waiter (I think his name was John) was so friendly and helpful. The food was excellent! And did not take long to come out. Since it was our first time, the manager gave us free dessert, which I thought was so nice because they did not have to do that. I’m all about great service, and great first impressions, and this place was great! I can’t wait to come back. Thank you guys for a great experience.

Food was okay. Salad only had iceberg lettuce but had fruit, nuts and feta cheese. Chocolate cake was kinda dry. Service was good. Waitress was very friendly and good at her job.

I keep meaning to take a picture of my food whenever I go here, but it's always so delicious I start eating before I remember! This place has really great service, great prices, and absolutely INCREDIBLE food. My personal favorite is the Wednesday special - roast turkey and stuffing with cranberries in it!

Fresh hand breaded chicken tender, pintos and fried squash. Moist cornbread. Service was good. A family atmosphere.

Owned and operated by the same people as Johnny's Farm House in Concord, NC. Basically, same menu. Home style cooking. As I understand it, nothing is frozen before it is cooked. Example:Fresh Squash and Okra. Johnny does one thing I admire, he hires young local kids going to school.

They have phenomenal food. Always usually very good! Other than the fried squash LOL. All batter and no squash. Other than that we love to go here. Nice staff and great food overall.

The place is obviously THE gathering spot for the China Grove crowd, and handled a huge crowd very well. We had a number of special orders and each came just as we ordered and in a very reasonable time frame, especially considering every table was occupied with the after church families.Prices were very reasonable and the food is very good.

I USE to look forward to coming here! the food is awesome when you can get a waitress that LISTENS to your order and writes it down correctly, but hey mistakes happen I get it but she asked me if I wanted my cheeseburger remade i said yes as long as it's a NEW FRESH made double cheeseburger and not just taken into the kitchen and have the toppings scrapped off and sent back out she said "i cant promise they want do that!" then no I dont want it take it off my bill I will just not eat

I don't know what has happened here. This used to be my favorite restaurant. Management is now horrible, they can't keep help. People get up and leave more and more. One of my sides I ordered, Iwas just about finished eating before I got it and never got the steak sauce I asked for. Twice!!! Too many local restaurants to put up with this.

Last 2 times I've ordered from this place I've either been hung up on or treated like I was an inconvenience for someone to take my order. The food is ok and theres tons to choose from I just wish the staff would be friendlier. Not sure if I'll order from again, dont want to feel like I'm too much of a bother to the employees.

We have never had a bad experience here! The food is so good, even my husband loves it, I always get the southern fried chicken dish & I love love love it! My kids eat the food too....that's huge honestly, they are hit or miss at most restaurants! The wait staff are friendly too, they engage with the kids and make sure they like the food too! The prices are pretty good too, we spend about $50 before the tip with a family of 5 without desserts, though we get the kids a lollipop(3/$1) at the register and they are just as happy! Highly recommend this place! If you're looking at dinner time to eat I recommend showing up at about 4pm to beat the dinner rush!

What a great restaurant. Friendly staff, clean, extremely well run and fantastic food. One of the best biscuits I've ever had.

My family loves this place. Great variety even for picky eaters. The service is great, the food is great, and the prices aren't too bad.
